About

I was born and raised in New York City. I studied art at Parsons School of Design and graduated after 4 years with a BFA degree. I made paintings and drawings (and exhibited them) for about 15 years after school while working at design studios and magazines as a designer to support myself. I opened my own graphic design studio in 1997 and have designed many books, magazines and newspapers. After much consideration and careful planning (and procrastinating), I have decided to issue a series of numbered editions (Giclee prints) of my paintings and drawings. All paintings and drawings were photographed by professionals who specialize in gallery and museum work. All digital scans have been color corrected. Multiple proofs have been made of the prints to ensure color accuracy. The high resolution Giclee Prints are made with pigmented archival inks and printed on Hahnemühle 100% acid free etching paper. I will hand sign and number all prints. When the final proofs came in I was astonished at the clarity, color fidelity and beauty of the prints. They are much higher resolution than what you would see in a magazine or typical offset print. The entire purpose of this enterprise for me is to make these works affordable to the people who would love to have some art on their walls but cannot purchase a $5,000 painting. I always wanted my work to be available to more people.
